Where In The World Is That?

There are forty-five features that you will learn to locate on a map, but do not panic; even if you have not already been working on them, you may already have a pretty good idea where many of the features are located. As you learned earlier, there are four oceans, and you will need to be able to locate them. You will also be asked to locate the seven continents, several major rivers and lakes, some desert areas, some mountains, and a few islands. Find out what you already know by playing Where In The World Is That. See how many features you can already locate; then use the game as a tool to help you learn the rest of the information. Drag the feature from the right to the appropriate location on the map. If you are correct, the feature will remain in place. If you are wrong, the feature will return to the list.

Play the game as many times as you need until you can locate all of the features listed here. The Speedback assignment and final exam will ask you to locate several of the locations.
