Stages of team formation

As a team leader, it is your responsibility to draw the maximum out of your team. This is be possible if you:

  • Offer challenging work to the members and ensure that the team members are aware of their responsibilities;
  • Ensure that the team members are working towards a common end;
  • Motivate the members to the best of their capabilities;
  • Encourage the team members to contribute their best both to the team and the task at hand;
  • Make sure that no personal conflicts take place within the team.
  • Decide on goals and discuss the approach towards them with all team members.
