Court your beau with finesse

Want to add some spice to your life? The following courting gestures will groom you in wooing your partner with elan.

The man of the moment:

·                    Performs preening actions

·                    His torso becomes erect

·                    Hands try to undo crinkled creases

·                    Straightens his tie

·                    Pulls up his socks, checks his nails

·                    Thrusts chin upward and forward

You need not be a femme fatale to entice your man. Sending the right body signals will add oomph and oeuvre to your persona. So go ahead and

·                    Arrange your hair

·                    Smoothen your dress

·                    Touch up you make up by adding dash of lipstick, powdering your nose… the list could go on.

·                    Sit with one leg tucked away, sending the message, ‘‘you make me feel at ease.''

·                    Slowly cross and uncross your legs

·                    Gaze directly at your man

·                    Caress the inside of you calf or knees, sending the message that you are ready for a tête-à-tête.

·                    Delicately balance your shoe on the toe of one of your feet indicating how comfortable you are in your partner's presence.

·                    Strike an ‘'I am interested in you,'' pose. Expressing Expectations

Expressions are an integral part of every relationship. You could do well to remember that if you expect something you have to express it. You cannot take others for granted. Your expectations might remain unfulfilled unless you make them explicit by way of non-verbal leakage too.

 Expectancy gestures include.

·                    Rubbing the thumb and index finger together shows that you expect money.

·                    Rubbing the palms together signals that you anticipate something, e.g. getting a contract or a good meal.

·                    Rubbing a wet palm against a fabric communicates nervousness.

·                    Crossing of the fingers is a sign of expecting result.
