Be specific about your personal and organizational goals. Vividly visualize (think with moving visuals) that they have already been achieved by you.

Picturize that you are happy and cheerful and so is everybody else in the organization.

  • Think of the moments when you were praised and felt extremely happy. Close your eyes and start visualizing:

  • What images of these moments are coming to your mind?

  • How bright and vivid they are?

  • Of what colors are they?

  • Are they on the left, center or the right of your field of vision?

  • Are they moving or stationary?

  • Do you hear any voices, sounds of clapping, compliments or any thing else?

  • Are there any smells in it?

  • What feelings are you experiencing?

  • Are you a part of these pictures or are seeing them from outside as an observer?

Repeat the exercise

Now repeat the same exercise for the goal you are targeting:

  • Observe and collect the similar details of what you see, hear or feel. Are the details same or different from the ones that you observed in the earlier case?

  • If you find the details to be different from the ones that you observed earlier, modify your visualization of the desired outcome according to the details accompanying the earlier experience of success.

  • Bring the same quality to your mental pictures. Modify the voices that you are hearing accordingly. Visualize that you are a proud member of a great organization
