low performance level in private to the persons concerned.
Find
out the reasons for the low performance and identify ways of overcoming
them and developing strategies for improvement.
The
employee should get the feeling that it is his performance during a particular
time period that is being evaluated as low and not his real worth as a person.
Change
his nature of work or just give him a break to relax and recharge his batteries
or send him on a useful training program.
While
building teams, assess the qualities and skills required for accomplishment
of tasks assigned to team members.
Search
for the right kind of people and build teams in such a way that a member's
weakness in a particular area gets offset by the other member(s)' strength
in it.
