  • Never wait for latecomers.
     
  • Discuss issues in the order of their priority.
     
  • Think of the ways in which you can orchestrate the meeting to extract the best out of the meeting time.
     
  • Circulate briefs much in advance among the participants giving all the details of the meeting.
     
  • The time, venue and agenda with all the issues involved, purpose and necessity for the meeting, choices in hand, their possible consequences and time allocated to each point of the agenda should be spelt out, so that people can do their homework before coming to the meeting.
