Team Pulse
This can happen in a couple of different ways. One way is
through an initial team survey that generates data on how members perceive team
functioning and interactions. A survey will include topics such as commitment,
trust, communication, and conflict resolution. Administer the survey at least
quarterly to determine progress and team development priorities. Another way to
take a team "pulse" is to have periodic frank discussions about what is working
and what is not. Practice regular, informal conversations that keep
communication channels open.
