With increasing usage of Internet, online communication is rapidly becoming the order of the day. In such a scenario, the utility of Internet in distance education is being acknowledged across the globe. “The concept of online education is soon catching up in India as well.” Says Ashish Jain. chief operating officer of Opelearningworld.com. The portal has recently launched a series of online courses in association with various established universities and institutions. Jain counts flexibility, accessibility and cost effectiveness as the biggest advantages of online education over the conventional medium.
